One Month Later...

Okay, so I have been really slack on the posting lately...SORRY! I guess I have been relaxing and enjoying the good reads of everyone else ;) - by the way, great work ladies...he he he

Here is a written update and hopefully this weekend I will get some pictures posted...but don't hold your breathe :)!

Let's start with Michael and I:
Doing great, staying really busy with work and the kids summer schedule. We have all three most of the time (well for 6 weeks) and then we are back to the "normal" yearly schedule of having Austin and Morgan for Wednesday nights and every other weekend. It has been nice having a full house and watching the kids enjoy each other. Unfortunately, I don't have a summer break, but we have evenings together and that is better than nothing. Last night Austin and I had a nice dinner out while Michael was at a ball game with Morgan - good bonding time.

We have been working on the house :)!!! YEA!!! We have done 90% of the outside painting and have transformed a white house with light blue trim to a "smokey topaz" (I call it milk chocolate) home with white trim...LOVE IT!! We are going to do the front door and side door in Rootbeer and have nice outside lights to place....oh, I am so happy with the new look.
We got a very nice grill for Michael for Father's day and will be working on the floors and possibly a back deck after the painting is complete. Transformation is coming right along!!

We had no kids this past weekend and spent a couple days with my Aunt and Cousins in St. Petersburg on the beach :). Great time to relax and enjoy family that is usually much farther than a couple hour drive.

Can you believe that we have now been married for 6 1/2 months...time flies when you are having fun :). I have found a wonderful man and thank the Lord everyday for the great family we have created.

OK - now for the Kids:
Kaelyn - she is going to be heading into the 3rd grade next year and is LOVING her soccer experiences. They had a 3 vs 3 tournament earlier this month and they placed 2nd and are heading to the Disney wide world of sports for the Nationals tournament end of July!! These girls are great athletes for their age, but this is a new format and it will be interesting to see how they do. Other than that, Kaelyn is just enjoying her summer - lots and lots of playing. All three kids attend a summer rec program and have 2 field trips a week. Oh, summer as a child!!!!

Morgan - she is going to be heading into the 5th grade and has found her nitch in softball. This summer she is on the All Star team and her games will begin July 9th. She has been playing in many different positions during practice, it will be interesting to see where she ends up in the game.

Austin - he is going to be heading into the 8th grade...almost to high school. He is enjoying sleeping (makes me very jealous) and has started focusing on basketball. He is playing in a competitive league for the first time and has his 1st game on Saturday at 2:30p. He has played baseball for years (since he was 5) and I think he is just burned out. He tells me that baseball is in his past and that he enjoys basketball and whole lot more!!! He is quite the athlete and could play anything that he set his mind to....well maybe not football....well, he is pretty fast....oh, let's just stick with basketball...

Well, other than our dog who is still a goober that is about that. My sister keeps trying to trick us into thinking that she is going to have a baby, but then goes home and forgets what labor is...I guess we will just have to wait until she is really due JULY 20...but tell baby Fredrick to make up his/her mind!
